Patient Transport
Resqmed Services provides patient transport to the community and private sector. We operate 24/7 and cover NSW, QLD and the ACT. Our ambulances are all fully functional and stretcher equipped. We carry cardiac monitors, medications (including pain relief), oxygen therapy, trauma packs and defibrillators, in addition to our standard equipment, to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. In this COVID era, our vehicles are also kitted out with the appropriate PPE for the protection of our staff and patients.
Resqmed Services has a variety of vehicles to suit the needs of our clients and patients including:
- Stretcher patients
- Wheelchair patients
- Ambulatory patients
Our vehicles are located all over NSW, QLD and the ACT. Our fleet includes a variety of standard ambulances and 4WD ambulances, single and dual stretcher ambulances, as well as some with wheelchair lifts for accessibility should it be required.

Yes! Resqmed Services can operate patient transport services in NSW with consent issued by NSW Health, under section 67E of the Health Services Act 1997. We also have approval to undertake Non-Emergency Patient Transport in the ACT for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency
Resqmed Services has been approved by NSW Health, under section 67E of the Health Services Act, to provide patient transport services for the following:
- Private health facilities
- Private residential facilities
- Medical Practices
- Aged Care facilities
- Public Health Facilities (with consent of the local health district)
Absolutely! Our ambulances are equipped with enough room for a clinical escort or loved one to come along and accompany you
No. Our vehicles are designed to take both sitting and stretchered patients depending on their individual needs. We also have vehicles with wheelchair lifts for accessibility should it be required
Of course! We hold great pride in our brand and services and expect a high standard of professionalism and capability by those wearing our uniform. Our clinical staff are required to undergo a refresher every 12-18 months, and also perform a minimum number of clinical hours each year as required by the regulatory body AHPRA. Every employee or contractor is required to sign a code of conduct and abide by our policies and procedures.
Additionally, our vehicles are all fully insured and serviced regularly to ensure reliability and safety to all of our clients.
